KWL European warehousing and logistics expands in storage and service logistics
Ulestraten (NL, Europe, June 1st 2016) – KWL European Warehousing & Logistics BV (hereafter “KWL”), a Dutch specialist in European warehousing and logistics, will double its existing warehousing capacity near Maastricht-Aachen Airport/Technoport in The Netherlands from June 1st. The European logistics service provider recently signed a new contract with a US company in the medical IoT equipment sector.
With the additional space, which also serves as a bonded customs warehouse, the total warehousing capacity of KWL will increase from 1,500 to 4,000 square meters.
CUSTOMIZED EUROPEAN LOGISTIC SERVICES
KWL started the search for additional warehousing space in October 2015. This was in anticipation of the expected growth resulting from existing contracts and potential clients in the pipeline. "We noticed that regional and international companies are becoming more aware of our company and European logistics services . International customers are really excited about our customized logistics solutions for their European business strategies. Our growth potential is substantial." said Louis Coenders (Business Development EMEA and the Americas).
HOLLAND AND THE MAASTRICHT REGION FOR EUROPEAN MEDTECH LOGISTICS
With the additional highly-secured warehousing facilities, KWL will more than double its European storage capacity. "We have observed that the Venlo, Born and Maastricht regions are logistics hotspots for American and Asian enterprises who view Europe as an important market and want to use these hotspots as their European logistics centers. Maastricht has a big focus on the healthcare sector due to the local presence of well-known medical companies such as Abbott, Medtronic and Boston Scientific. In addition, foreign investors get full support from regional government investment agencies such as LIOF. That support is essential to our growth in the medical logistics sector" according to Jinder Hug-Wong (Business Development Asia).
